I have frozen organic milk and have yet to defrost it. it looks like it has gone yellow. so my question is can you freeze organic milk? i froze it the day of the use by date.

Thanks all!

Organic milk is no different from any other milk. Yes, you can freeze it.
Don't worry about the colour now. When you defrost it you should find that it returns to its original state.

IT DEPENDS....

organic milk from Waitrose is not homogonised (ie the fat isnt mixed in like it is in almost all other milk you can buy) so waitrose organic milk does not freeze well

it's from sainsburys

I've defrosted milk by leaving it in the fridge overnight, and also by leaving it on the kitchen side for a quicker result.
Both seemed fine and the milk returned to its original state.

Just be careful of a soapy aftertaste with frozen milk. Sometimes there's too much lipase and it does nasty things when frozen. After a couple of bad experiences with frozen milk I now avoid doing it if I don't absolutely have to. Just make sure to taste a spoonful first before using it in anything.
