emergency gelatine questions

am making pannacotta. Jamie says to use 1.5 leave of gelatine, which I've done.

Am now slightly nervous that he's probably using some super duper massive gelatine sheets and mine are little ones.

How can I tell it is enough and is there any way to add more if it cools down and clearly isn't!

I'm sorry to say that I think the only way to tell if there is enough gelatine is to see if it sets. I can't see how you could add more gelatine.

Not useful I know, but 1.5 sheets doesn't sound like much to me, I use 3 sheets.

It should say on the pack how many leaves to set a set amount of liquid

I bought more leaf gelatine recently and they were in a much smaller packet!

And if it doesn't set I suppose you could reheat the custard and melt in extra, but that might upset the first lot

GOOD LUCK!
