Bread making machine - the BEST one for me... any ideas?

I know this has been covered before but I am not sure it focused on what we are looking for...
We currently make bread completely by hand. I use fresh yeast and many grains and seeds (sunflower, sesame, pumpkin, fax ....) I know some bread makers are not very flexible/good with grains.
I might be happy to use sachets of yeast but I need to be able to make all sorts of breads....

The one people refer to when they say Panasonic is the one with the nut dispenser. For the under 100 quid it is accepted as the best.

We got ours from amazon.

Defintely looks like what I am looking for!

here

I want 1 too but cant afford anymore than about £30 right now.

We spend on average 8-10 pounds per week on bread so i feel a machine would save us money and be very very tasty

HRHQueenOfQuelNoel · 02/01/2006 19:41

sorry - yes the nut dispenser one for your needs - but if you didn't need the nut dispenser the other one is just as good

pupucelovesruDOuLaph · 02/01/2006 20:38

How does the nut dispenser work?
Can you make sour dough bread?

I think the expensive one from panasonic is the best pupuce - I don't have one but researched it pre-Christmas, unfortunately my PIL bought me two cashmere scarves instead

the nut dispenser is essential if you add loads of stuff like I do occasionally

jambuttie · 03/01/2006 11:41

is it just used for nuts??

or is this where you would put other things like tom, basil etc

NewYearsRacerLution · 03/01/2006 11:50

I have the old version so have to add extras by hand like a total sap but I think the dispenser is for adding anything you'd need to add once the main mixing and kneading has been done - nuts, fruit, herbs etc. I've only just got mine out again after a couple of years in storage so haven't got the hang of fancy breads again yet

Jambuttie, I got a second breadmaker for Christmas. It's a morphy richards. Brand new still in the box. You can have it for £35 plus postage if you are interested. and if you are by any chance in Northwest Surrey, I can just drop it off and skip the postage.
