Does anyone want to help me make a meal out of this?

I'm rubbish at creating meals.... Great at cooking (modest too Grin) but I usually need a recipe to follow. So I need to make a meal for 3 adults and 2 children out if the following:
Braising beef 500g
Sprouts
Leeks
Potatoes (sweet and normal)
Carrots
Swede
Parmesan (?!)
I also have quite a well stocks storecubard..,

Any ideas?

I'd do a stew/casserole with the beef and root veggies and mashed pots with leeks and cheese.

Is the braising beef in chunks or slices? If it's in slices you could breadcrumb it... mix some grated parmesan with breadcrumbs (and some dried herbs if you've got them), then shallow fry in a bit of butter and oil. Make either sweet potato wedges and some sprouts to serve. Or you could make some cheesy mash mixed with fried sliced leeks (kind of like Colcannon).

If it's in chunks I'd made a casserole too, plenty of red wine in it :)

Chuck it all in a pan with some stock? I am utterly hopeless without a step by step Grin

sorry, forgot to say if you're breadcrumbing the beef, dip it in beaten egg first, then in the breadcrumbs.

It's chunks, which is a shame, I like the breadcrumbing idea!

If you're doing a stew, sautee the leeks in a bit of oil, add chopped carrots, swede, sweet pots or whatever you want in the pot. Let it sweat over a low heat with the lid on for 5 mins. dust the beef in plain flour then add to the vegetables. Brown over a low heat. Add some red wine if you have some, or stock will do. Add herbs, seasoning etc (I sometimes add a bit of marmite for a really nice savoury kick) bit of Worcestershire sauce and so on. Check seasoning and then leave it to simmer for about an hour.

Ok, well save the breadcrumbing for next time :)

i vote for a beef casserole -brown the beef(i would rub in flour first- to thicken the sauce), swede and carrots off, chuck in a slug o red wine to glaze, add some beef stock and transfer to a low oven for a few hours, if your lucky you'll have some fresh roemary to chuck in along with plenty of pepper.

Accompany with a leek and potato mash with parmesan(sounds odd but Ive tried it- and it works) Yum

Thank you so much (I will be taken credit, you understand Grin)
