I think they put some kind of kiddie crack in those petit filou yoghurts. No other way to account for all the yogoholics on Tiny Tearaways IMO.

Having said that, I can see how it could happen dd2 was a really picky eater and underweight with it. For quite a long while petit F was the only thing I could guarantee she'd eat, and failing that she was quite happy to eat nothing at all. If I had more of an anxious disposition and had been inclined to pander to a 1yo's whims, I am quite sure she could have ended up like one of those kids on Tiny Tearaways. As it was I took a policy decision that I wasn't going to let her live solely on a diet of PF and slowly very slowly -- her eating got better.

My dd (13 months) absolutely refuses to eat any kind of yoghurt (petit filous included). I keep trying different sorts, but she just gags and spits them out! It's a bit of a PITA as it would be a really convenient pudding if we've run out of fresh fruit. Ho hum

not at all. they go on and off them.

Seona1973 · 20/12/2005 19:52

dd has a drinky yoghurt (muller vitality mostly)with her lunch and normally a pot of yoghurt after her dinner (sometimes a small one, sometimes a larger one). On some occasions she has ice cream or a mini-milk ice lolly after dinner for a change. She doesnt drink much milk at all now so they are used as milk substitutes. She is 2.

Ds (10 months) has greek yoghurt with fruit puree mixed in after lunch, and a petit filous at teatime. Its the only thing he will eat off a spoon at the moment. (He does eat a load of other stuff, but it has to be self-fed and he is not very good at that yet).

Dd (3.6) has a yoghurt (slightly bigger pot) as pudding most nights. If she eats her veg...
