Reheating rice (2)

Sorry - have got to start new thread as damn computer refuses to let me add a message to the other thread! I was very very ill after being poisoned by rice, so I can testify that rice CAN be dangerous, if kept luke warm for long periods of time! Its much worse than salmonella, being closer to a form of dysentery: I lost a stone in three days (no kidding) and hallucinated for over 24 hours, and the other symptoms lasted for more than 3 weeks, and it took a very strong course of antibiotics (not something I normally take) to cure. - if you chill cooked rice as rapidly as you can, and then reheat quickly when you need to (the Boiling water idea is a good one) you won't have a problem, as the bacteria which causes the problem multiplies incredibly rapidly at room temperature, and then won't be killed by reheating. Nothing to do with pasta, by the way, the bacteria lives in the husk of rice, and is only a problem if rice is luke warm.
