She eats a wide variety of food but for the last few months and more so lately she has started to stuff her mouth full and then chew for a bit (sorry tmi warning) and then pushes it all out again. She likes her food and isn't picky, she just seems to put it all in and then can't chew so kinda gags on it and forces it out. We've tried giving her just one bit at a time and taking the plate away till its gone but she just screams more more and doesn't eat the bit she's got! She self feeds herself well with fork and spoon. Bread is the worst, it all gets stuck to the roof of her mouth and then she gets quite distressed. She now pulls sandwiches apart and just eats the middle. she doesn't like many potato styles only chips!

Am just wondering if anyone else has this issue and what they did about it? other advice I've had is that she'll grown out of it!

I'd keep going with the 'little bit at a time' approach and, when the screaming stops (which you have to ignore), then give her a bit more. She's risking choking at the moment and it must be quite distressing for her. Good luck

It's odd because last night she ate perfectly a whole bowl of spag bol! Guess the texture was ok for her? maybe bread and pots 'do' something in her mouth she doesn't like?

Spag bol is more juicy, more liquid. Starchier foods like bread are more 'claggy' as we say up north :) and she might not have the right technique yet for moving them around her mouth and swallowing them. Maybe you need to encourage her to sip drinks when eating those kinds of foods?
