Hello everyone, I've finally got round to joining mumsnet, my main motivation being to seek some help with this problem. Loads of parents I know can not get their children to eat fruit, my problem is the opposite, mine are eating far too many apples (4 - 5 a day) and I am really concerned about the acid eroding their teeth. My eldest (7 year old DS) is causing me the most concern as he is starting to loose his baby teeth and they are obviously worn from apple eating, I am keen to ensure that he does not damage his adult teeth. I am not sure what to offer as a low fat and healthy alternative especially as my 5 year old DD appears to have a much slower metabolism than my DS and could be prone to putting on weight. They are all allowed one banana a day and eat that too.. My two year old DD is following suit so I am really keen to find a solution soon.
Hope someone can help ...... thanks in advance!
Amanda
