I would say sausages were a bit of a mouthful for a 6 month old, chemically, fatty and salty and indigestible..I think there are far better things to eat, mainly vegetables and fruit

Go organic! We get lovely sausages from an organic farmer who breeds British pedigree pigs - we've even visited the farm several times.

They make all their sausages on site as well.

Mmmm.

full of salt and fat. even the btter quality ones are full of salt/fats/additives etc.

that what i thought, my friend has given them to her ds but i didnt think it was the best idea. he eats lots of fruit and veg and has the odd bit of meat and fish. Think ill stay clear of processed foods for a while. dont think we have any organic farms near us!

Yes,I think when they are so little and the amount of food is very tiny that you might as well give them positively good foods rather than it won't do them that much harm will it foods

i would NOT gve a 6 month ld sausage...

before they are 6 month they should ONLY be having fruit and veg and baby rice

no protein / dairy at all...

therefor to move onto sausage whch is heavily processed and full of salt IMO is not necessary.... there are so many other nice food for them to try, fish / chicken / yohurt / cheese a bit of mince in a tomatoe sauce etc, that arnt processed. WHY on arth give it to thme then?
