Healthy snacks for school age children

Easter is still fresh in my memory, and with it, the hideous amount of rubbish that my children consumed Blush.

Can anyone help me come up with relatively healthy, but satisfying after school snacks?

They all take packed lunches which is always a wholemeal roll with something on it (e.g. ham, turkey), 2 pieces of fruit or veg (or dried fruit, or smoothie), and an extra thing. Some days this is a yogurt, some days it's a Laughing Cow soft cheese dipper thing, other days it's something like a Penguin, or Pom Bears Bear.

Then when they come in from school they have a snack before going off to sports / dancing / whatever. We seem to be stuck in a rut of this being a slice of toast or bowl of cereal - any other good ideas (bearing in mind what they've had for lunch)?

When they first get in give a pretty plate of fruit (if you've the time to peel and cut it into a flower or funny face they eat it very happily) Then as above, not forgetting tahini and tzatziki with the houmous and ryvitas.

Sometimes i give low salt plain corn chips with the dips i sometimes make my own haricot bean dip as well.slices of avocado, cool radish and carrot sticks. Whole rice salad is also good.
