Meltingly tender rack of ribs?

How do you get them that way? I've tried a few ways over the years but have never got the falling of the bone tenderness I would like.

So do you parboil? Or cover and cook long and slow? Or both?

I do my ribs in the slow cooker marinated and then covered n barbecue sauce for 3-4 hours meat falls off the bone , my kids fave meal.

I have absolutely no idea where my slow cooker is. Which is odd, since I had to empty my entire kitchen when we had a new one fitted.

Ah well, job for tomorrow.
