Can I freeze a curry sauce with yoghurt in it?

I am on a mission to fill up the freezer before the imminent arrival of DD2. Today I'm making Jamie Oliver's chicken tikka masala recipe.

It says to add the yoghurt 20 mins before the end of cooking the sauce, rather than just stirring it in at the end as I usually do. If I do this, will it be okay when I freeze it then bung it into the microwave to cook?

Thanks!

yes, it'll be fine, prob will need a good stir up as it might separate slightly defrosting, but it'll taste good, some curries taste even better after freezing. good luck with impending birth!

Notanother could I be nosy and ask what else you are filling your freezer with? I'll be in the same boat in 18 weeks time and need to start being organised.
I wasn't with DS and pub takeaway is not something I want to repeat :)

Not at all! I am struggling to come up with anything that is not mince and tomatoes based... so far I've made bolognase, chilli con carne and tuna pasta sauce. We usually eat turkey mince rather than beef, as its cheaper and lighter.

Last time I was much more organised and made lasagne, mussaka and shepherds pie - all of which are great as you don't even have to cook the carbs to go with them.

I'd be grateful for any more suggestions!

meatballs or home made burgers/patties
most pasta sauces
any stews/casseroles
fish pie/fish cakes/goujons
roast dinners inc the spuds and yorkies
risotto
toad in hole
quiche
pancakes
have some pastry in to knock together a pie with prepd casserole
even basics like bangers n mash are handy
