Just being a goody wifey/mother type person and cooking something that takes more than 10 minutes to cook.

Have done ok so far but tastes a bit tomatoey, can I add creme fraihce to a casserole type thing without it curdling. (also have low fat natural yogurt but not sure about that either!!)

Just don't want to chance it and chuck it all away when it goes wrong.

Any Nigellas out there I would appreciate your help on this one.

Thanking you in anticipation.

Yes you can but make sure the casserole thing isn't boiling or too hot. Add it a little at a time stirring in between and tasting until you've got the right amount. Either will work.

Thanks you domestic goddess you, I am going to give it a try now - or do I put it in at the end when I take it out of the oven???

Sorry to be so crap at this stuff - M&S usually do all of the hard work for me with casseroles and stuff like that - DP is going to be stunned!!

Put it in at the end, that way you can make sure it tastes right.

Agree with florence, yep, at the end just before serving. Hope it's nice!

Waitrose half fat creme fraiche is stabilised with ?cornflour. Tastes great and you can do anything with it (even in the sexy nighty line!)
