The recipe is here

Are they good? I like gooey, moist brownies.

Also what can I use instead of corn syrup and can I use normal sugar. Is powdered sugar icing sugar?

OK I am going to use common sense here and presume I can use honey, golden syrup, maple syrup or treacle in place of corn syrup.

I know you can use granulated sugar instead of caster sugar just by putting it in a blender, spice mill or food processor to make it a bit finer but is it ok to use that instead of icing sugar. Obviously if I was making butter cream or icing then I would need icing sugar but if it's just going into the cake mix is it important?

no no no, you need suzywong's brownie recipe, it's the best on the planet!

Does it have peanut butter in it though? I need one with peanut butter cos it's DS' favourite.

no, but I'm sure you could spread some on afterwards Grin

Ah I was thinking of something that used it inside the mixture IYSWIM.

do you put peanut butter in nigella's then? That sounds intriguing...

Just realised they're not Nigella's but a recipe posted on her website by somebody else.

I used mars bars in it so I decided it was probably sweet enough without the sugar in the end and I've never made brownies with syrup in before so I was going to leave that out anyway.
