Quick question re flexible silacone cake tin

Hello, I'm just about to christen the heart shaped silacone cake tin that DH got me for Christmas.

I know that they are supposed to be non stick but do you still grease and line yours or will it be okay without doing either?

Thanks.

I'd line it

But I hate those silicone "tins".

Make sure to put an oven tray into the oven to get hot, and put the cake tin onto that.

If your recipe has butter or oil in it then no.

Although I use mine for bread which doesn't have any fats in it and it doesn't need greasing either.

Mine worked fine without greasing/lining iirc. Yum cake...

Mine all work well without greasing and I never line anything!
