How much is too much fruit? My dd is nearly 3 and loves all fruit anf veg, I have to persaude her to eat other food. I know this may seem like a dream to many parents but when she eats too much fruit and veg and the effect is runny nappies. Any suggestions on food to help with the nappy problem?

No such thing as too much IMO, DD3 is like this - give her a plate of fish fingers chips and veg and she eats the veg first, followed by fish and leaves the chips. licks the bowl if its casserole or roast dinner!

I find that white bread helps a bit with the nappies, my DD loves pizza, also try eggy bread or boiled egg and soldiers for tea. also buttermilk pancakes anything with egg in really.

I think she can eat as much fruit as she likes as long as it's balanced by the other food groups - make sure she also gets enough carbohydrate for example.

Tomatoes can give runny nappies (they're useful for constipation) and in combination with other members of the same family, eg a ratatouille - tomatoes, peppers, aubergines - can cause outrageous explosions. You may find that jsut limiting those, or at least not giving them together, may help a lot. I also have a fruit-and-veg adorer .
