..It was a double layered spinach and salmon, and very deep.

How do i go about making a double layered quiche and what do I make it in?

It only tasted better because it was your honeymoon, y'know!

Your thread title sounds like the opening line of a classic novel. Smile

It was a truly amazing quiche, the salmon was maybe hotsmoked and the quiche was in layers, salmon on the lower layer, spinach above. It had perhaps been cooked 'til set with the salmon layer and the spinach layer added after.I was too busy looking at the painted cherubs on the ceiling of the cafe and scoffing the quiche to pay proper attention.

Mmmm, sounds nice. Or it would if I liked salmon,

Er, yeah, do what you said, cook one layer then add the next. Or just put salmon in pastry, add egg, put spinach on top of that, add more egg v gently.

trillian, I hate salmon but this was a lovely quiche! It was in a museum cafe and i can't remember which one. I will find out and get back to you greythorne. The quiche was the 'menu' so I wouldn't expect to find it if I went back.

So how long would I need to cook the first layer for?
