Oatmeal - does it go off?

I've just found a nearly full bag of oatmeal in my cupboard, but it's very slightly out of date.

It's not rolled oats or porridgy stuff, it's quite fine. I think I bought it to make biscuits, and only ever made one batch!

So, will it be ok to eat? The bag has been well sealed with a clippy thing.

TIA

Should be fine. I'd eat it.

I don't know where I got the recipe from, actually.

This time, I was thinking about making parkin, or maybe putting them in a crumble topping.

Not sure yet, just clearing out the cupboards and trying to use up stuff rather than go shopping.

Dried stuff lasts forever. So long as it hasn't got damp, doesn't smell funny & isn't moving under its own steam, you'll be fine.

Thank you. Apple crumble for dinner tonight!
