Anyone successfully had their food processor repaired?

That's it really. My lovely food processor died. Suspect it was the motor, it died mid cake. Have rung around a few places who don't seem to do small items. Morphy Richards no longer produce that processor and don't repair out of guarantee.

It's only 6 years old, and was a decent one. I'm suspecting this sort of job is not worth a technician's time and that's why they don't repair them, but wondered if anyone had hints as to what sort of company/small business to try.

TIA

I repaired my Kenwood recently and the place I took it to had all kinds of makes in there.
Have a look at the Kenwood website for a list of approved repairers, then phone the one nearest to you to see if they'll repair a MR. They'll also be able to let you know if it's economical to repair. I paid £28 for a new circuit board.

"died mid cake"

Sorry your processor died, if it was a Magimix it could be repaired there is a place in Surrey that does it that I know of.

Thanks, I tried the Kenwood number. They don't repair MR, but he told me he doesn't know anywhere that does. At least it's stopped me looking. Note to self, buy Kenwood next time.
