Very puzzled about this, are they currently producing some or all of their chocolate products in Poland, if so do they use UK or Polish milk? Is Cadbury's Polish or English,I'm confused Confused

winny, I am not criticising Polish resources, in fact the opposite, I am also sorry for the best Polish brands to be forced away from what they became famous for. Maybe some of the tradition will remain in their own brands rather than swallowed by the parent's greed for profit.
Personally I think Polish produce is generally healthier and less processed and sad to see it being superseded by cheap fillers. Only just discovered that Polish mini-kabanos now contain gluten :( really annoyed as I have trustedthem for years.
I also love Wedel choc plums

belledecinsault LOL I soo agree about the standard of "british' choc. We have a 2nd home i France and have discovered the BEST choc is made in small choclatiers in our nearest town.

This subject has caught my eye as I have too have been very sad at British companies being taken over by foreign companies then the manufacturing being sent abroad. Does anybody know of a database or website that I can see where stuff is made. I just want the choice to buy British made items without there being any concealed secrets. Perhaps then we can all choose. Poland and any other country for that matter, could then support their own countries as I wish to do mine.

Please don't call Cadbury chocolate.-)

Can I recommend you change your chocolate brand...preferably to a company like Divine? Details here

Unfortunately, unless you buy from a one-off private chocolatier, there is no 'British chocolate company' anymore. I would prefer now to support the smaller FairTrade companies rather than the multinationals (even Green&Blacks is owned by Cadburys)

it realy is a question of taste and that taste is not replicated outside the uk the bar code of the product will start 0500-500- 503-up to 509 i think that will be a good barometer if its made in the uk there is nothing right or wrong on this there is no good milk or bad milk it comes down to the basic taste test and in Europe and the US they like what they have and we we like what we like Mars bars seem to still be made here so do galaxy bars but cabury bubble mint are made in switzerland best advice buy it - try it - dont like it - tell cadbury complain on their web site get a voucher thank you cadbury i'm off to get my £3 worth of choc
