lasagne recipe's please?

Could anyone please give me some idea's on what lasagne recipe's they like.

I need a couple of meals I can cook the day before and then serve to guests the following evening. I don't want to be cooking when everyone is in the house. I have decided on Jamie Oliver's chilli con carne and will do a lasagne for people/kids who don't like hot/spicy food. Any ideas for lasagne or any other dish I can prepare earlier are more than welcome.

Thanks.

Make bolognese sauce (presume you know how to do this?)

Make bechamel sauce by infusing milk with slice of onion, few whole black peppercorns, a pinch of grated nutmeg and a bay leaf (heat milk with ingredients then leave for a bit before straining). Use this milk to make the sauce using a roux.

Layer meat/pasta/sauce as many times as possible in the dish (I only ever get two layers). Grate some parmesan on the top if you like. Whop it in the oven Grin

When I make Chilli for a few people, I make a spicy one and a non-spicy one.

In the non-spicy one I still add the cumin etc but then add Paprika to give it a smoky flavour without the heat.

This is a real cheats receipe but really nice. I fry onions, garlic and mince beef, breaking the beef up really fine as I hate lumps. When browned I add loads of tomato puree and the Dolmios bolognese sauce(please dont tell anyone).
I then make a bechamel sauce with Colemans white sauce! I use fresh lasagne sheets from waitrose and layer up as usual sprinking fresh parmesan on top.
I find this better reheated the next day.
I am generally considered a really good cook and make everything else from fresh and never use jars of sauces, not even for curries, but this to me is real easy comfort food!
