And then freeze a batch, will they be okay frozen if cooked?

Does that make sense?

Yep. I've frozen biscuit dough before and it works fine. In fact, it works really well for biscuits (as opposed to soft cookies). You can roll the mixture into a log shape, freeze it, then when you need to use the mixture again just cut off slices and bake.

I made a too big batch of lemon semolina shortbread a few months ago so froze a log of it. We are snowed in atm and am raiding the freezer as supplies are low, guess what I found?

They cooked even better this time! I defrosted for about an hour first.

Does that mean I can freeze the cooked cookies IYSWIM?

Sorry but I am being a thicko :)

I would think it would be better to freeze the mixture in a roll. The cooked ones could crumble of thawing, a bit like the crust of bread flaking off iyswim.

Yeah, I would freeze the raw cookie dough, then defrost it when you want to bake them. I've done that with cake mixture too and it's worked fine.

I don't think oatmeal raisin biscuits have a dough as such do they OP? I would freeze cookie dough but NOT the mixture I make oat/raisin biscuits with. They should freeze OK cooked though in an air tight container.
