full fat freezes best I believe (but make sure there's enough headroom in container as it will expand)

And I am not currently in England, so for me all milk is in pink juice cartons, whatever their fat content. So I thought of Tatooine too....

I freeze milk every week. It freezes beautifully. 2 things to remember:

  1. Make sure you leave room above the bottle for expansion, ie don't cram it into the freezer where there's zero space.
  2. Shake it well once its defrosted as the creamy bit sinks to the bottom and the watery bit is on top.

It goes yellow when it's frozen and looks odd, but is absolutely fine once defrosted.
