If I'm adding detail to some sugarcraft models, what would be the best thing to use?

Blossom tint with a bit of vodka?
Edible pen?
Paste food colouring that has been thinned with water?

hiya,
you could use any really but i always just use paste colourings thinned with vodka- always dried well.
I also have a load of pens and there always handy, some times easier than a brush!
What are u making?

paste colouring but with clear spirit (vodka, gin, etc) so that it dries quicker and doesn't make the model soggy works best for me.

I did have a bottle of completely undrinkable overproof rum which was perfect for the job, but it got dropped Angry- basically, the higher the %age of alcohol the better (it will all evaporate, don't worry!)

i would use paste colouring thinned with clear alcohol if you don't have any rejuvenator spirit

Thanks for all the responses. I asked a cake decorating shop lady and she said never paste Hmm.

Anyway, I've got both so I could experiment.
