Cake decorating question

Hello,
I have just finished decorating a skeleton birthday cake (turned out rather well if I do say so myself [hsmile] )

But he is too big to go in a tin - so how (if at all) do I protect him until the big party tomorrow? If he goes all dry and wrinkly I will have a very sad 6 year old!

Fridge? Cover with cling film? Or will the cling film pull off the icing? Foil? Leave on the side and hope for the best?!

[hconfused]

Photo of the cake on my profile. Really am rather chuffed with him!

That is a fabulous skeleton! well done

I would double wrap in clingfilm, but not put in the fridge, iirc the cold.damp does something to the icing??? makes it slimy or something? Then put in a cool, dark place.

What kind of icing is it?

If fondant then no, I would not cover it with anything, just put a tea towel over it. Definitely do not put clingfilm over it as it will sweat

If it is a cake with icing made up of icing sugar and water, then yes, I would wrap in clingilm.
