Ramekins?

Pyrex dishes are a bit pricier than I expected & I was going to make individual ones for FIL and my dad

And then a bigger one for us

Also, what do you serve with yours?

Not sure about ramekins, imo they don't look very 'puddingy'. How about dariole moulds? They're a little more pudding-shaped.

As for serving, sifted icing sugar and then cream/greek yoghurt/creme fraiche. Much much better than sweet white sauce - yuck.

What are they tb?

The don't look very puddingy, they were just the right size though & my search for xmassy and small pudding basins hasn't been very successful

Ta for the serving ideas

Individual Xmas puds look a great shape if made in Mini Pudding Moulds. There are several different makes on the market made in Aluminium. 6oz (3 inch diam) ones are about the right size. Do make sure that you don't store your puds in them though; the fruit acids can eat right through the metal. Take them out, wash the moulds, wrap the puds in a double layer of greaseproof paper or baking parchment (not foil) and you can then store them back in the moulds if you want to. Personally, bake ware is for baking, tupperware is for storing!

Thanks for that 4merly, I will google for some mini pudding moulds. I didn't know that the fruit acids would eat through metal, thank-you for that, I'd have been none the wiser & left them in there!

just a thought but couldn't buy a couple of the supermarkets own mini ones
admittedly they're not a patch on home-made xmas pud
but you could use those yourselves as they make a good ice-cream flavour!
then you obv have the plastic pudding moulds to make your own puds in Smile
