Baked cheesecake recipe

Hi

I'm hoping to attempt a baked cheesecake for a family get-together tomorrow. I have bought all the ingredients for Nigellas london cheesecake...Has anyone tried this?

I also have 2 punnets of fresh strawberries and some lemons so if anyone has any recipes that they swear by I'd really appreciate it

Thanks

I have read on here that Nigellas London one is lovely but haven't made it myself.

I have made this Lemon Cheesecake and it was lovely. Not usually a fan of cheesecake but it was really nice Smile

This one is fab, although I change the base to make it thicker; just line the base of the tin with crushed chocolate digestives and melted butter- I do about 3/4 of a cm- and chill in the fridge while you're preparing the filling.

Gorgeous with fresh strawberries or a coulis.

You could substitute the white choc for lemon and the chocolate biscuit base for ginger too...

Ooooh tethersend - that looks so impressive. Might be a bit ambitious for a first attempt though Smile

The Annabel karmel one in her family cookbook is delicious. uses loads of cream cheese though- you would need to go shopping?
Berries by the side for people to help tthemselves.

Honestly, it's worth it. It was the first cheesecake I ever made, and I have found nothing that touches it.

Thanks everyone - think I'll stick to the london one this time, I won't have time to pop to the shops tomorrow.

So, I've just made it and it looks yummy enough, but it has cracked slightly when I took it out of the springform tin to cool - did I do something wrong?

Need to leave them in the cooling oven untouched to cool. Hope it was ok.

Thanks tsg - it tasted goooood. Made a strawberry sauce which really finished it off.
