Baking a cake in a pyrex dish - advice needed...

I want to make a moon birthday cake, and have read that you can bake a semi-hemispherical cake in a pyrex dish. Are there any special tips for cooking in a glass dish? Longer/shorter cooking time,higher/lower temp? Bit of a novice baker here...

I think it might take a little bit longer because the glass won't conduct the heat in the same way as metal. Would keep the same temperature, but check at the end of normal cooking time. If not cooked through, you you might need to cover with foil to stop the top burning before it's cooked.
Someone else might be along who has cooked cakes in pyrex.

Hey Lilo - I didn't realise you got back to me! It worked really well. I did wonder if the outside of the cake was a bit tougher than it would otherwise have been, but the icing soon softened it up. Cake was a bit hit!
