isn't that your Christmas present from Santa?

maybe it'll wrap itself up and hide for the next 3 months....

mothersmilk · 29/09/2010 14:23

take it back and get your money back woman! you don't need it. you have 2 already, and it isn't a bargain if you don't need it, it's a waste of £60

mrspear · 29/09/2010 14:25

use the words they use "Made to last and stay beautiful, this casserole dish carries a lifetime guarantee."

BecauseImWorthIt · 29/09/2010 14:28

That's a really good price. Shame they're now out of stock!

Why, though, do you have to justify what you're spending to your dh? Is he your father or something?!

mothersmilk · 29/09/2010 14:28

i do neeeeeeeeddd it i just dont know what for yet Grin

mrspear, he'll then say that if they're made to last the two mothersmilk already has should be enough to keep her going for a few years yet.

SheWillBeLoved · 29/09/2010 14:31

You don't need to justify it, just hold it in front of him in some flattering lighting and say "Isn't she pretty...?" - he will agree, and if not, well... tough shit really isn't it Grin

mothersmilk · 29/09/2010 14:31

your right becauseimworthit actually i dont dh i really layed back and i always get what iwant Blush but thats the problem that makes it worse iyswim? the fact that he's like well you like you have it makes me think about wether i really need things ect. makes no sense i know so actually in the end its myself i end up having to justify it to. so what will i cook?

why would you need to justify a purchase to your dh? did you use his money?

pagwatch · 29/09/2010 14:33

Things for the house/kitchen are not gifts in my humble opinion. I would twat DH if he suggested a cooking pot or a home improvement was my gift.

Take it back if you don't need it. If you think you need it then don't justify yourself

taffetacat · 29/09/2010 14:34

You must ask yourself "What would Nigel cook in it?" and you have your answer.

If you can't find anything to cook in it, make sure you leave it out on the hob so it looks beautiful to all passers by, and also looks as if you are about to make something amazing in it.

Francagoestohollywood · 29/09/2010 14:45

Oh that is beautiful!!! You can make perfect bolognaise sauce in it.
