Question re packed lunch for nursery dd

Hi,
This may be a daft question. My dd is having her first packed lunch at her nursery (which is part of a primary school).
Some of the food containers that I had planned to use are a bit difficult to open (for her) as are the drink boxes/straws. Is staff there readily avaliable to help the children? She is very shy and may not ask for help.
Cheers for anyone who can advise.

The staff won't leave a child sat there struggling for the whole of lunch time will they? :)

She will be fine. Take her to the shop with you and let her try and open some and see what ones she gets on best with, and perhaps empty drinks from cartons into a cool new cup like this for her?

I let my DS2 try out all the containers before using them, though TAs do help them with lunch stuff (and lend them forks if parents forget them when packing noodle salad Blush). The lock'n'lock containers are generally easy (to open and to shut so the lunchbox bag doesn't get too grubby.) The flip-top beakers are easy to use too, but are not watertight if the straw part is chewed Hmm.

Let her try them. It's exciting!
