Cookbook reccomendations

Hello,
I am in desperate need of cookbook recommendations. I seem to always buy ones that require too many ingredients, or time and preparation or they are so basic (ie:student food...sorry students! ).
We dont eat a lot of meat, we are on a budget but like to eat good healthy food (lots of stews, pulses, soups)...oh and I am not a good cook to be honest.
I have a detox cookbook that I use a lot but I am getting bored of the receipes, so any suggestions?

Economy Gastronomy is OK for saving money and making your dishes go further (photos are a bit odd in it though)

Jamie's Dinners is a good basic one. Actually most of Jamie's are pretty fab. Nigella's are food porn (and I love them) but you need to have a storecupboard the size of Wembley Stadium and a purse to match.

SArah Raven's Food for Family and Friends. Its fab.

Fay Ripleys Family Food. I love it - and use it at least twice a week - unlike most of my other books! Lots of recipes that the kids will eat so generally a winner (and the most fantastic brownies with chunks of galaxy in them!).

I like the Saving Dinner series of books. They're american so sometimes you have to figure out what the odd ingredients are but you can usually google it.

These books give you recipes organised into weeks with shopping lists for each week broken down into sections like meat, veg, storecupboard so you can check what you have in before shopping. I don't follow them rigidly but find them helpful when I'm busy and the food is simple to cook and tastes great.
