Poorly girl - mayo allergy?

Was reading the Annabel Karmel recipes and read that my daughter who is now nearly 10 months, could have mayonnaise in sandwiches etc - obviously as long as it wasn't homemade and eggs were pastuerised. So a couple of days ago she had tuna mayo sandwiches (which she hardly ate and didn't really like) and the threw up a couple of times. She seemed a little better later but after her dinner she threw up again. We ended up taking her to the walk-in centre in the evening as she wouldn't even have her dummy or water and they found nothing wrong other than a bit of a cold and put it down to a bug. Well I didn't put 2 and 2 together (probably because she was sick after her evening meal too) but today I tried her on tuna mayo sands and she has been throwing up over and over since, the poor little love. So it must be the mayo (was just Hellmans) - but isn't this strange? She has been alright with eggs in the past so it can't be the egg part of the mayo so I'm slightly baffled. Anyone else experienced this?

Thanks for any help xx

perhaps its the tuna?

If she tolerates egg I would side with nannyl - maybe she has a tuna intolerance. Has she had much fish before?

Could still be a bug... Some return after a day or two. Mayo would hint at an egg allergy. How is she with egg?

If it's a bug I would cut down on dairy as much as possible for a few days.. It can irritate the stomach/ bowel area after a bug.

My Grandma is allergic to mayonnaise. It's not impossible.

Sorry, I'm still in the middle of cleaning up!

It wasn't tuna both times. It was tuna and mayo the first time and then EGG and mayo the second!

Thanks for all the ideas though - much appreciated. Will certainly stop with the mayo and cut down on the dairy.
