Thats it really, just wondering what type of pan you use for porridge, as my pots and pans are not great, so I'm looking for a cheapish one for now as know I have not got the money to get a real good set of pans right now...

WHy do you need a special one?
I just use a normal saucepan and put water in it to soak as soon as its empty.

I wonder if NASA have realised how strong dried on porridge is and if it could be used for the space station??

We actually cook Jordans Conservation Oats in the microwave. In a plastic bowl. They are perfect and the bowl is easier to wash and less claggy. IYSWIM.

I got a set of Anolon pans as a wedding present which are brilliant. Whatever you're cooking just seems to float inside and they're really easy to clean! I couldn't afford to buy any more myself, but have found that TK Maxx always have anodized pans in their cookware section and you can pick them up there much more cheaply than you would elsewhere.

i make them in the microwave at the moment, but my mum used to maje porridge the night before with water, then in the morning we could just pop it in the microwave and it would be much quicker.
