What can I do with some puff pastry?

I have a block of puff pastry that's about to be out of date. I'd like to use it to cook something for, or even with, the children (1 and 3). Any ideas??

I make 'pinwheels'...
Roll out the pastry in to a rectangle shape.
Cover with grated cheese and marmite.
Roll up like a swiss roll.
Cut the 'sausage' up in to rounds.
Flatten slightly and cook in the oven for about 20 minutes till golden brown.

Make sweet pinwheels with sugar and cinnamon, mmmm

tarts are good too, like pizzas but with puff pastry. cut the pastry into either rounds or squares, and put your toppings on top, can be anything, tomatoes, pesto, onion (these are better cooked first), mozzarella,

lots of ideas on the justrol website and on the ocado one

Thank you - especially for the website links - I was thinking of tart type recipes!

don't forget to make the most of the trimmings! just grate a bit of cheese on them and bake for a bit. or you could put a blob of jam in the middle and fold it up.

I've just looked - yum!

Roll out pastry, cut into 6 equal rectangles.
Spread thinly with dijon mustard.

Top with parma ham, halved cherry toms and shavings of parmesan. Freshly grate pepper on top and add a bit of olive oil.

Sling in the oven for 15-20 mins.

Yum!!

I only ever use puff pastry when I make chicken pie. Do you have the ingredients to make a pie?
