They freeze ok for a day or two, but not much longerl

i asked very question at Tesco bakery. Almost all the bread has previously been frozen, defrosted and then heated up in store. Refreezing is not recommended. Asda the same.

Ooh, didn't realise that roses - I was under the impression it was baked in store, not just heated. Also, I'd have thought if refreezing is not recommended, something to this effect would be printed on the packaging. Not sure if it is or not, as I don't have any in the house at the moment.

You do indeed learn something new every day!

oh, doesn't surprise me. i thought it was at least baked instore too though - what exactly do they bake there? or do they just re-heat all of it?

I reguarly freeze Tesco,Asda and Sainsburys' bread and I've never had a problem.

freeze and use for breadcrumbs

southeastastra · 05/08/2010 22:43

i could do, i never really make anything with breadcrumbs, same with stock it just takes up freezer space.
