Product ranges without "hyperactive" colours

The Food Standards Agency have issued a list of product ranges that do not contain the six food colours associated with possible hyperactivity in young children.

See here.

I was very surprise to see that Waitrose own label is not on the list.

I've emailed their customer service to ask which of their own label products do contain those colours.

Hmmmm... we shop at Waitrose, wondering where do they stuff the nasties? Trying to think which types of products do mostly contain colours and additives, any help gratefully welcomed.
We buy meat, veg, fruit, milk, Greek yogurt, cheeses etc, their own whole wheat biscuits -a la weetabix and porridge, jams, honey etc. - should be 'clean', no?
Tonic water?

OK have had a reply from Waitrose now:

Thank you for your query regarding the FSA list of retailers free from the artificial colours associated with hyperactivity. Waitrose do not permit the use of artificial colours including the said six and have been free from these for 7 months now. the reason we had not added ourselves to the FSA list is because we were allowing older stock which may have contained artificial colours to sell through. We will be adding ourselves to this list in due course. Thank you for taking the time to find out about our position, and please be assured we are in the position where our own-label products are and will remain free from artificial colours.

Yeah! All ok!
