Am, much against my better judgement, thinking about getting an Annabel Karmel book as the usually very picky daughter has demolished a recipe from the AK web site.

Has anyone got oneand got any comments, good or bad?

Am also thinking about the Little Dish book as she likes their ready meals ( I keep them in the feezer as a stand by as you can cook them from frozen) and would also welcome any comments.

I would just go and have a flick, but we live in the sticks and will be ordering on t'interweb.

Got Annabel Karmel but haven't really used it much, except to get the odd idea, which I then adapt. TBH, if you are a competent cook there's not much in it you won't have done already, it's just a case of getting a bit of inspiration(cutting cucumber into flower shapes, if that's your thing!)

I love Jane Clarke's Yummy Baby- not so many recipes (but still plenty), but they are all interesting, healthy (she's a dietician) and very tasty for adults and children. And the pictures are lovely. Have cooked loads from here and found the sections on nutrition and what to eat to help various common health problems really useful too. And she has quite a bit on fussy eaters too.

HTH

that does help... and one of the problems is I'm not really a very competent cook!!
