Snails?

Hello again!

So I have a 90l that now homes 6 danios and 8 minnows. The water is lovely and clear but I am starting to get bits of algae on the plants and glass. Would two snails enjoy eating this?
Is my tank big enough?
I called at a shop and asked about snails. They recommended two pointed shell snails (can't remember what they were called). I know snails can become a problem as they breed a lot but the man in the shop has said this kind probably won't produce lots of little snails.
Dd would LOVE snails but I wanted to check here as I am used to bad advice from shops!

Hmm, pointy shells could be malaysian trumpet snails or assassin snails. the former will breed very fast. the latter not quite as quickly. if you want something that won't breed at all then nerites are your best bet. they will lay eggs, which can look a bit messy, but they only hatch out in salt water. sometimes they are sold as zebra snails. you can also get reddish ones that are sold under several different names. sorry I'm on my phone but if you do a google image search then you'll see what I mean.

See bad advice again! Thank you I will have a look at those. It wasn't the assassin snails he was talking about so must be the trumpet snails. I don't have the heart to squish baby snails!

We now have two nerites. More interesting than I thought they would be. Just makes me a bit reluctant to put my hand in now as I'm not keen on snails. Lucky they are slow!

FWIW I have Zebra snails and red spotted (had 2 but one died) plus a small horned snail.
The nerites are not going to reproduce in water with no salt in, but 2 of mine are always 'at it' and the next day there are eggs everywhere. I don't think that they are that great at cleaning up but they don't damage the plants at least.
