Has anyone seen this, or is it one of those films that gets released in Oz first? Or was it shown here because the Melbourne Film Festival is about to kick off?

As with all subtitled films, you have to pay a lot of attention, and so much is implied, the old brain goes into overdrive. Only one icky moment, when the lovers disport themselves rustically; full of Lawrentian imagery (boak).
It sounds like I didn't like it, but like so many really good films, Mr E keep coming back to it, and will look out for it on DVD - in the section labelled "Arthouse" at Blockbuster.
