Wall_E totally sold out In kingston.

Took DS (aged 4.5) and friend to KF Panda. They LOVED it. DS keeps making me repeat the plot (focus on fight scenes with Snow Leopard) over and over again. I thought it was absolutely fine, certainly wasn't bored but would have rather seen the Dark Knight!

Went with DH, dd, ds (5 and 6) and we all loved it. It has none of that tedious smart-arse stuff which is supposed to entertain the adults at the expense of the kids - just a good story well told and it looks fab. Laughed loads.

Took the dc (10, 8 and 4) to see this today. We all loved it. Fast moving and funny. Definitely worth watching.

I enjoyed it on a "well it's entertaining me" kind of level, but didn't it just totally wimp out at the end?

BibiThree · 04/08/2008 14:00

And dd and her cousin weren't all that impressed. Think it was a bit fast for dd though, she's nearly 4 but enjoyed Wall.E much more.

I usually hate these computer made kids films but the kids wanted to see this and so I took them along. They loved it, I actually enjoyed it too.

I think being a huge fan of Jack Black helped though, its wierd the way his personality actually comes through the animation!

Took my younger two (4 &5) to see it a few weeks ago and whilst it is an o.k. movie and enjoyable enough...it wasn't mindblowingly great...and personally I enjoyed WallE better.

Ds (4) loved the humour & action of KFP, no, not a classic but enjoyable fun. Thought the marketing of Wall-e was off; the post-Armageddon setting was too advanced a concept and too a bleak landscape for him to really engage with.
