Even though this is streaming, I’ve put it into film.

It’s well done I think. Anna Kendrick is amazing (still struggling to believe it’s not Rooney Mara). Too much close up violence. There’s a spoiler here - there’s one violent act that is not shown, and I think that undermines the film. It didn’t perhaps fit the angle they want to go down.

I thought it was utterly boring weird crap.

I thought it was really powerful and well done.

It was based in real events

Yeah enjoyed it. The scene where she is in the car park trying to get back to her car actually gave me sweaty palms!

I know. It was weird, and it was poorly executed.

Really enjoyed it. The bloke who played the serial killer was amazing in it

I agree. I love Anna Kendrick and for me she was the only thing that kept me watching. True story or not, it was largely filler material that made for dull watching.

I really enjoyed it. I like that it was made by a woman and I think that showed.

Compared to most films or TV shows that involve serial killers of women or serial rapists, there was more emphasis on the victims. We saw snippets of their lives before they were attacked so they were real people to us. We knew what was happening but, from what I remember (I saw it ages ago), the camera cut away so we weren't seeing the attacks with the predator's gaze, using the women's fear for the audience's titillation.

The girl who was attacked but persuaded him not to kill her was astonishingly brave and quick witted (in real life as well as in the film).

I remember watching it and being so angry that women died unnecessarily because of failures by the police and the judiciary.
