What’s a good horror movie for a 9yo girl?

My 9yo girl keeps asking to watch a horror movie.
looking for suggestions since I don’t know any “gentle” horror movies.

She wants to watch ‘Annabelle’ after she’s picked it up off YouTube, but it looks a bit heavy duty.

I was thinking ‘mars attacks’ but even that might be too much for a 9yo…

I saw Poltergeist 4 on a long bus trip to a school camp when I was ten.
Them were the days, eh.

There’s a kids’ horror movie called The Hole. DO NOT confuse it with The Hole starring Keira Knightley, that’s a grown up film!

In all serious though, I'd be search for children's Halloween films rather than actual horror films. What she thinks a horror film is and what an adult thinks a horror film is are two different things.
