Has anyone seen this?

I can't make up my mind if Daniel Radcliffe was intentionally being terrible in it!

Not sure if he meant to be awful but it was very like his role in the Now You See Me film a few years ago

Yayayaya20 · 16/04/2022 23:38

Oh I've not seen that I'll need to watch it to see.

Was it entertaining? It looks like a bit of daft fun and I was thinking of taking myself along to the cinema to see it on my day off when my son goes back to school.

Ooh, can't wait to see this! Going with oh Friday on a rare child free eve

willingtolearn · 16/04/2022 23:59

I found it entertaining and there was lots of laughter in the cinema.

I don't think anyone was taking themselves seriously, mostly poking fun at their own stereotypes - including Brad Pitt's hair.

Yayayaya20 · 16/04/2022 23:59

Yes! It wasn't the best film I've ever seen but there were a few funny moments.

I saw this tonight - it was very silly but I did laugh out loud a few times and there was lots of laughter in the cinema.

I really like it when people like Sandra Bullock and Brad Pitt do comedy. Most of the cast were pretty good but thought Daniel Radcliffe was hopelessly miscast as the villain.

Channing Tatum gets his kit off quite a lot but it's fairly family friendly- a 12A. One gory moment and a bit of male bare bum.
There's an extra scene halfway through the credits at the end.

I thought it was a good laugh. I like not having to think too much. And there were a few unexpected parts.
Daniel Radcliffe being a totally ineffectual villain added to the daftness to me but he was outclassed by the rest of the cast who are just better at comedy.

Oh I saw it this morning and unexpectedly thought it was great, just a nice light hearted comedy that didn't take itself too seriously. I thought Daniel Radcliffe was meant to be a rubbish baddie, so I think his acting was fine.

We saw this today and I thought it was pretty bad 😬

Very bitty and it just felt weird.

Meredusoleil · 23/04/2022 19:52

We are going to watch it tomorrow. Will report back afterwards!

Meredusoleil · 24/04/2022 18:52

Well we watched it today. Found it very funny indeed. Lots of lol moments. Loved the way the story developed Alan's character.

Some very violent scenes and also tense ones that had us hanging off the edge of our seats.

Would definitely recommend!
