Am I imagining things or is Angelina Jolie playing Grendel's mother in the Beowulf film?

I certainly don't remember her trying to seduce Beowulf in the poem .

DH and DS1 had quite an interesting discussion about the ending. Does the cycle end if the successor is gay? Or will Grendel's mum's shape-changing abilities get round the problem?
