Films I can watch with teen DCs that don't have sexual content?

On netflix or Amazon prime... They're 12and 14 and every time I find a "good exciting" film there's always some kind of sexual implications or scene that makes us all cringe and it's uncomfortable.
Any good suggestions?
Thank you!

Holes - it's free on YouTube. Stellar cast.

Great thank you! Going to look up the Martian...
Saw bfg several years, more for when they were young children...
It's a difficult phase - too old for the "children's" films but not quite ready for the adult.
There are few 12 rated films out there...

Locke and Key - it's like a slightly more grown up Spiderwick Chronicles.

TwigTheWonderKid · 28/03/2020 18:45

Hunt for the Wilderpeople is great!

Standrewsschool · 04/04/2020 10:32

Kick -Ass and Kick -Ass 2 - just watched these two film. They have a rating of 15, due to violence in them. Entertaining films, which we enjoyed.

IceKitten · 04/04/2020 10:35

Life of Pi

LargeGinOnTap · 04/04/2020 12:32

The oceans films are on Netflix's now.

I don't think there's any romance in them they just try to heist casinos etc.
Haven't seen them for ages so they might have dated horribly.

zelbazinnamon · 04/04/2020 12:34

Jane Austen films?

LittleSweet · 04/04/2020 12:43

San Andreas
Jumanji the new one.
Percy Jackson
Hunger Games

LittleSweet · 04/04/2020 12:43

I really enjoyed Locke and Key.

Besom · 04/04/2020 12:47

I've wondering about Locke and Key. Dd is 12 and yes it is a bit of a tricky age.

bruffin · 04/04/2020 16:50

Sing Street
Begin Again

Standstilling · 06/04/2020 09:55

Divergent and the next two on Amazon Prime. Actually hooked all 3 DC (14, 12 and 9) - unheard of. And I didn’t mind it either.

SarahTancredi · 06/04/2020 14:29

93 days - dont think it has anything in it
The shallows
Eli

Allthebubbles · 06/04/2020 14:39

Merlin is on Netflix, it's five series worth and we're really enjoying it. I think it would work for that age.

Justonemoremojito · 06/04/2020 14:45

We're working our way through star wars although 6 & 7 over here! But detective pikachu, new aladdin, sonic film?

ElaineMarieBenes · 06/04/2020 16:46

Theeb (Netflix)
