Wonder woman (what age)?

Dying to take my kids to see this (great to have a woman superhero), but am wondering what age it would be suitable for.

It is PG-13 in the States and 12 A in the UK, I understand, but has a hopeful and non-ironic hero/ine, so might possibly be relatively ok for slightly younger children?

Boney I hated the 2009 WW animated film. Full of sexual comments. Surprisingly stellar voice cast, though.

The ending though was much more true to form for a warrior in that she didn't need to be inspired but she inspired others.

Glad your son enjoyed it. I would've loved to have taken my 6 year old DD to see it, but I feel the war scenes are too harrowing for her. I also hated the gassing scenes and found them upsetting. I might let her watch the start when it comes out on DVD.

My ds 21 saw it last week and he said it shouldnt be a 12a, and didnt think it was suitable for young childten at all

My DD (8) loved it, though it was a bit loud, but was annoyed that they get the mythology wrong because she's a little pedantic about things like that!
