So many that other people have said but ones I love that haven't come up yet:

White Christmas
Intolerable Cruelty
One Fine Day

Embarrassingly, think Wall-E might be my favourite film ever.

And have watched Under Siege - DH's trash film of choice - so many times that have strange affection for it.

YouGotRedOnYou · 22/07/2016 14:20

Biscuit I live for trashy films.

Any nic cage film...

AmberNectarine · 22/07/2016 22:07

Oh, and Road House. Because Patrick Swayze fighting with his top off never gets old.

2nds · 22/07/2016 22:27

Lol there's a closed down business not far from me called roadhouse and the sign is right out of the 80s. I am just dying to have my picture taken at it lol.

The bodyguard
Dirty dancing
Howel's moving castle
Harry Potter, I'm 33
Blades of glory
Pride and prejudice

Dog Soldiers. And not just because I never get tired of drooling over Sean Pertwee.
Pride (as already mentioned upthread - and I still sob in exactly the same place every blasted time).
The Ladykillers (original Ealing version, not the Hollywood Tom Hanks arse gravy).
And a guilty pleasure - Carry On Up The Khyber.

DontSweatTheSmallStuff · 22/07/2016 23:10

Demolition man

"Aw shit, they let anybody into this century!"

TroysMammy · 22/07/2016 23:20

Mrs Brown
Seven Brides for Seven Brothers
Predator, my dp won't watch it with me because I quote the dialogue especially when they are being helicoptered into the jungle to the song Long Tall Sally.

BeMorePanda · 23/07/2016 12:57

Elf

MissMargie · 23/07/2016 14:58

I watched My Beautiful Laundrette decades ago and still remember bits vividly. Great movie.

Chikara · 24/07/2016 20:19

Airplane!
Hannibal Brookes
Brief Encounter

There are so many more to be honest, but these are ones which stay with me. I always watch Love Actually and Shawshank if they happen to be on when flicking through the channels. Know the scripts by heart!!

Kreeshsheesh · 24/07/2016 20:41

MissMargie I agree with you. My Beautiful Launderette is a superb film. I loved a lot of the British films of that era. Prick Up Your Ears was another one.
