Just shows how people are taken in by Richard sodding Curtis (and before you all say that he wrote Blackadder which came second in the poll, he only wrote the first series on his own which wasn't remotely funny, it was only when Ben Elton got involved that it was great) (IMO)

really? I've never understood the great British love affair with this prog - in fact I don't think I've ever seen an entire episode. Nor a whole VoD either....

is a travesty that good life didn't do better and that blackadder didn't win, or yes minister...anyhow, sitcoms have never ever been my thing anyway...(said sitting at computer in nightie with finger in socket hair following night of doom )

I agree MrsDolittle...cringe city. A sitcom is a comedy about a situation, so I would say that The Office fits that bill!

That makes me cringe too but I love it! It's the way everyone reacts to David Brent that makes me laugh!
