Good Spine Chillers/Suspensers

I'm in the mood for a right good spine chiller at the moment.

Watched The Ring this week and I loved it. Also loved Silence of the Lambs and - dare I say it - Identity.

Any recommendations?

Agree with you there, Lou33! Maybe I should just freeze-frame the few non-suspenseful scenes and dwell on them.

Here you go mrsG ! Or if you prefer, another barechested shot is here. Fifth picture.

Have you seen the original Ring?
The Others was so scarey.
Urban Legend scared me, also Blair Witch.
Jeepers Creepers, both of them, had me on the edge of my seat, although I know that others found it crap!!
The Hole was good.
I am hoping to see Cabin Fever soon.
Will think of more!!!

Saw Cabin Fever the other day. Was alright but the best bit was the extra films on the dvd. Bizarre animations called the Rotten Fruit! V v funny.

Ringu is v good.

Spacemonkey, the scariest film I ever saw was The Vanishing, directed by George Sluizer. The original Dutch version, not the sh*te Hollywood remake. Unbelievably it's only a PG but I guarantee you will not sleep afterwards...and never feel the same about motorway service stations again. Horrible masterpiece.
Also found The Red Squirrel (Carlos Medem) pretty spooky, and Night of the Hunter (with Robert Mitchum and Lillian Gish), and Rear Window scary too.

Love The Others, and 28 days later (but only cos I fancy the main character )

I also remember watching jeepers creepers 2 through my fingers, but everyone else think its rubbish so what do I know.

The Shining isn't scary at all.
