Thanks for that Sidge Smile.

Took DC to the Vue yssterday to see Despicable Me. Was quite good, especially as it was only 95p each.

Has anyone seen Animals united, and would it be suitable for a 3 1/2 year old who has never been to a film at the cinema before?

(I don't mind if it's not a great film, but I don't want him to get nightmares!)

I think it would be fine KitandAdamsmum - it's quite gentle apart from a few scenes with a roaring lion and snarling leopard but they are quite brief.

My 4 year old watched it ok (apart from a cuddle during those bits) and she'd never been to the cinema before either.

I warn you it's really dull so you might want to take a book Grin

We took DS's aged 5.6 and 2.11 to see it last week and they liked it and sat through it, although we did allow them to stuff themselves silly with sweets throughoutGrin

Agree this film was rubbish and why was it in 3d?! I think it is more suitable for little kids who will enjoy the jokes about farting etc. For adults and the like it is just a message about climate change and the effects we have on the environment. Depressing and unecessary. I walked out after half an hour.

8y dd enjoyed it but she is obsessed with meerkats so that aspect did it for her before it had even started tbh. It was fine, a bit moralistic on the whole Eco front. Not sure 3d was necessary but it seems all films need to be 3d the moment.
